Hello SharePointers,

When you try to connect to SharePoint online, if you face the issue “Get-SPOSite : The site is not properly formed.”. That means you have not given the correct site URL.

The url should of the format

https://companyname-admin.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteName

Incorrect format

https://companyname-admin.sharepoint.com/sites/SiteName/ which gives the error message “Get-SPOSite : The site is not properly formed.”
