Hi Fellow SharePointers,

Today, I got into a very strange issue where I try to activate SharePoint Server Publishing feature in one of my publishing site. I got the below error message .

Error. Cannot complete this action. Please try again.

Then When I try to dig further and found out that the Image Library already exists in my site collection. You might be wondering as to why image library is causing the issue.

The publishing features creates three libraries when we activate the feature “SharePoint Server Publishing“.

1.Pages
2.Images
3.Documents

In my case, I have already created “Images” library manually beforehand.To resolve this issue, I just renamed the document library Images to MyImages. And Everything works like a charm.
